Curious about fly fishing but not sure where to start? Or already hooked and looking for more people to get outside with?

Join SheJumps, HK Brewing Co, and Wasatch Women’s Fly Fishing Club for the first event in a beginner-friendly fly fishing series designed to build skills, confidence, and community.

We’re kicking things off at HK with a hands-on fly tying class. Learn the basics, get familiar with the gear, and tie alongside other participants in a welcoming environment—no previous fly fishing experience required.

Schedule:

2 PM – Doors open + check-in
2:30 PM – Presentation
3 PM – Fly tying class
4 PM – Opportunity drawing + event ends

This series is gender-expansive and welcomes women, non-binary, and trans folks. Future events include a casting class on September 12 and a river meet-up on October 4, giving you the chance to take what you learn from the tying table all the way to the water.
