Terms of Service
Last updated May 11, 2026
Welcome. By using What To Do In Salt Lake (the “Site”), you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language because this is a small, independent site and we want them to actually be readable.
What the Site is
The Site is a curated calendar of events in and around Salt Lake City. Listings come from venues, organizers, and reader tips. We do our best to confirm details, but we are not the organizer of any event listed. Times, prices, ages, and venues can change without notice. Always check with the organizer before you go.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for anything that happens under your account.
- One account per person. Don't impersonate someone else.
- We can suspend or delete accounts that are used to spam, harass, or abuse the Site or the people who run it.
Submissions and tips
When you suggest an event, send a tip, or post any content to us, you confirm that you have the right to share it. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, edit, and publish that content on the Site and in related promotional material (social posts, emails). You can ask us to take a submission down at any time.
Please don't send anything illegal, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.
Acceptable use
- No scraping, bulk downloading, or automated access without permission.
- No attempts to break, overload, or probe the Site for vulnerabilities.
- No reposting our content in a way that suggests it's yours.
- Don't use the Site to send spam or harass people.
Our content
The original writing, layout, and design on the Site are ours. Event titles, descriptions, and images sourced from organizers belong to those organizers. If you want to repost something, link back and credit the source.
External links
The Site links out to organizers, venues, and ticket sellers. We don't control those sites, and we're not responsible for what happens when you leave.
No warranty
The Site is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep information accurate and the site running, but we can't guarantee it. Use your judgment — and confirm details with the organizer before you make plans.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including from inaccurate listings, missed events, or anything you experience at an event you found here.
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA.
