Starry Nights @the Plaza: See Mark Chaney and Friends and the New Sculptures at the Plaza

Tonight's Starry Nights @the Plaza event is our final one of the season. This evening's event features an Art Walk showcasing the new sculptures that will be at the plaza for the 2026-27 season and the band Mark Chaney and Friends. Of course, the Food Truck League food trucks will be there, too.

The food trucks arrive at 5:30 p.m., and Mark Chaney and Friends takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. Go to thefoodtruckleague.com for the lineup of the food trucks that will be there. (Scroll to the date and then click "Show Trucks" for Taylorsville League Night).

The Sculpture Unveiling also begins at 6:30. The new art pieces created by local and area artists will be on loan at Centennial Plaza over the next year and can be viewed anytime for free in what has essentially become an open-air gallery at the plaza .

Mark Chaney and Friends promises a great accompaniment to the night with their mix of Rock Funk and Blues. Mark is a versatile percussionist and fabulous singer that has played with many different musicians across the country. He is accompanied by Kevin Stout on guitar and trombone and Jim Stout on bass.
